Fulda Gap ’85 — Campaign?

Went to begin one of the campaigns in FG85 last night, only to discover that a “campaign” in this game seems to be just another word for “really, really, really big scenario with a boatload of turns and units”. Whereas I was expecting a collection of smaller scenarios that follow some sort of narrative progression depending on choices the player makes, I guess the idea of a campaign in this game is simply a larger-scale battle where you may have several smaller “scenarios” going on at once and have to coordinate them all.

After aimlessly scrolling around the map for a few minutes, I decided it would be perhaps better if I kept to some smaller scenarios until I get a better handle on the gameplay. Thus, I may attempt to do another turn-by-turn narrative in the near future.
